The delphinium, if in the spring
it needs to be divided
plant the tender little new shoots
 
discard the hard old heart!
 
Can anyone credit such beauty
could hide a 'hard old heart'?

    What - I have never divided mine. Do you divide yours, Hildred? Surely they don't have cold, hard,hearts!
