A small stone from the Similkameen

August 5th, 2011

Towards the East the hills stand green and comforting,
but from here in the bottom of the valley
they are laced with urban poles and wires.

I turn my eyes to the North where they are still
pristine and untouched
and I am once again delighted.

  1. I am glad you have both views.

It is so nice to see nature untouched but there is comfort in the communication and services that the poles and wires provide.

    Lovely post. :-)

  2. I tend to look past those poles as well, but appreciate their service.
